Points

Exact score	5	You predict 2–1, it ends 2–1
Right result and goal difference	3	You predict 2–0, it ends 3–1 (or 1–1 when it ends 0–0)
Right result	2	You predict 1–0, it ends 3–1
Wrong result	0

The Joker

Once a week (Monday to Sunday, UTC) you can play your Joker on one match: its points count double. You can move it to another match until the Joker match kicks off.

Deadlines

You can make and change predictions until kick-off. After kick-off nothing can be changed, and everyone can see what other players predicted. Results are added automatically, usually within a few hours of the final whistle.

Leaderboards

Weekly, monthly and season leaderboards, plus one for the players you follow and one for each private league. To appear on the monthly leaderboard you need at least 3 scored predictions, and on the season leaderboard at least 5. Ties are split by the number of exact scores.

Beat GossipBall

Every leaderboard shows how you did against GossipBall's own predicted scores on the same matches, using the same points (GossipBall has no Joker).

Fair play

One account per person. Usernames and names must be decent. Accounts that cheat or abuse the game are removed from the leaderboards or closed.

No prizes, ever

The game is free and just for fun. There are no prizes, no money and nothing to win, and it has nothing to do with betting.

Your data

Your email address is only used to sign you in and is never shown to anyone. Other players see your username, first name and the first letter of your last name, your avatar, your favourite club and your predictions after kick-off. You can delete your account at any time in your profile. Privacy
